Taste Green
Rotary Club of Claremont, in putting together A Taste of Claremont for the ninth year running, realizes what an impact an event like this can have on our environment. With this in mind, the first ever environmental committee was formed with the goal to make this year’s event Taste Green. Some considerations include:
- Big Belly solar powered trash bins
- Printing paper materials on recyclable paper
- Encouraging recycling at the event by providing more recycling bins
- Including recycling bins as a sponsorship opportunity
- Using sustainable materials over non wherever possible
